Day Five: Halloween Recap

I know most people have forgotten about Halloween by now, but I’m going to post about it anyway, now that I have pictures to post.
My friend Marci and her husband threw a fantastic costume party the Friday evening before Halloween. The hosts had excellent costumes. Do you recognize them?
A few flappers came to the party
as did a samurai.
There was a game of cat-and-mouse,
and Cruella sported her dead dogs.
Jareth, the Goblin King (a.k.a. David Bowie in scary makeup and spandex) even showed up. He had a crotch that squeaked when squeezed, and ended up winning best costume.
Others where there, but I have no pictures to prove it. They included Chuck Norris,Professor Plum and the Candlestick, The Sun, a Christmas Tree, Bellatrix Lestrange, Jay Gatsby, Jack the Ripper, a zombie and a gargoyle.
It was definitely the best Halloween party I’ve been to, with lots of great food, great music, great people, good alcohol, and fantastic costumes. I can’t wait for next year!
Goodness gracious. You win more than just the costume contest. I think there's like a MacArthur Genius Grant lurking in there somewhere, too.
