The New Professor

My professor, I want her for my very own. I want to wrap her in a hanky, put her in my backpack, take her home, unwrap her and sit her on my bookshelf so I can look at her hair whenever I feel like it.
Her hair is glorious!
How can I describe it? Organized chaos.
organized chaos = a styled mess ≠ a messy style
Seriously. She’s got to be about fifty, and she looks like she spent forever trying to style her hair and it just didn’t work. It’s gorgeous.
Not only does she have great hair, but she has a fantastic personality to boot. She’s cut & dry, blunt, and yet not at all intimidating or bitchy.
Very different from the last professor. Who was vague. His clarification, when asked for it, was equally vague. And he was TERRIBLY afraid of offending anyone. Sheesh.
So I’m really looking forward to this woman who is going to teach me everything I need to know to write literary fiction.
I’m going to be busy.
That means my already sporadic blogging and my regular personal journaling will likely suffer, but that’s ok. I’ll still be writing, and even better than that, I’ll be creating.
And I’ll have an awesome to look at, incredible to listen to, and fun to be around smart lady there to help me through it. Who, by the way, has given us permission to use her first name.
