What the heck?

I woke up this morning to a swollen upper lip and left cheek, and a painful blister (which I thought was a pimple) about an inch from my lip.
Is is a boil? Is it staph? Did I punch my face while sleeping last night?
Hopefully, we will find out this afternoon at 3:15 when I see a doctor about it.
UPDATE: The doctor had no clue what caused this. So, I got a steroid shot in the arse to make the swelling go away. I can already see a difference, and the doc said it should be normal by tomorrow morning.
