Meme

I was tagged by Yellow Turtle to post this meme on my blog, so here we go.

The rules are:

  1. Link to the person who tagged you.
  2. Post the rules here
  3. Share 7 random or weird facts about yourself
  4. Tag 7 random people at the end of the post, linking to them.
  5. Leave a comment on their blog so that they know they’ve been tagged.

  6. I just found out on my last birthday that I am a fan of David Bowie. A lot of you know that I like the movie Labyrinth, mostly because I was scarred by the spandex as a young child. However, my friend (was it Marci or Caroline? I don’t remember, sorry) played some David Bowie for me at my birthday party, and I realized I knew and loved most of the songs but had never noticed it was David Bowie singing them. Thus my revelation that I am a fan.

  7. I love colubrid snakes. I think they are beautiful and entertaining. My brother and sister had pet snakes when I was a kid and it was like having “Wild America” in your living even if CNN was on the tube. I don’t think I’d ever want one as a pet, even though they are terribly low-maintenance, but I still think they are fascinating creatures and are fun to play with.

  8. Sometimes I eat salt by itself, right out of the shaker.

  9. When I was a kid I had a crush on Roger Rabbit. He made me laugh. I think that’s the only crush I’ve had that is weirder than my Jeff Goldblum crush.

  10. I can’t drink water if it has been in a glass over night. It grosses me out to think that I’m drinking dusty water. As a result, I highly identify with that creepy little girl from Signs.

  11. My favorite poem is “Very Like A Whale” by Ogden Nash.

  12. Until I was too old to join, I often thought about running away to join the Air Force because I secretly want to fly blackhawk helicopters.

I’ll tag Dominic, Blabber Blog, lippylou, lex, finalite missris, and spherical aberations.
